Management and Co-ordination
Heads of Department meet once per term to discuss issues of mutual interest. As appropriate they plan formal and informal activities, which are funded through the Network. Their responsibilities are to plan and cost INSET activities and to ensure that their schools are kept informed of Network developments.
Curriculum Deputies meet twice or three times a term. The responsibility of this group is to act as a steering group for the Luton Curriculum Network and to provide support for the individual curriculum groups and to approve funding. Each deputy has a link to a particular curriculum group. The group also identifies strategic issues, which might profitably be addressed by co-operation through the Network.
Overall co-ordination of the Network activities and management of funding is provided by Luton Sixth Form College. |
