INDIV1DUAL TRAINING

Your Mentor
All our trainees are allocated a trained and experienced mentor who is responsible for helping you development classroom management skills and also monitors and supports overall professional development.

Your Subject Co-ordinator
The development of subject knowledge for teaching is overseen by your Subject Co-ordinator.  They focus on developing your skills to teach your subject effectively and they design the weekly Subject Application and Assessment courses.  They are responsible for school placements and mentors.

Your Professional Tutor
Each school has a Professional Tutor who co-ordinates the work of mentors in their school and oversees the ‘whole school’ experience of the trainees, including an induction programme.  They also have a tutoring, counselling and a quality assurance role.

Your Training Support Tutor
Termly visits are carried out by Training Support Tutors who observe you teach, discuss your training needs and provide support and guidance throughout the course.
